What is SMUSD Cloud?

SMUSD Cloud is a gateway to access Google classroom. Students can log into the portal through 19 schools operate under the San Marcos Unified School District. Students can access online classroom from their home with SMUSD Cloud. 


How do you set up student portfolios?

  1. Setting up your student portfolio on SMUSD Cloud is a simple thing.
  2. First of all open in your Google Chrome browser. 
  3. You will see the login details on the right-hand side.
  4. Enter username and password. (Username is Student and Password is a birthday in YYYYMMDD format)
  5. Click on login and it will take you to the dashboard.
  6. You can access multiple things from here such as google docs, my big campus, my files, text pages, account information, tumble books and some other features.
  7. Select Google docs to set up the profile,
  8. Now click on the tiny square on the upper extreme right corner and select sites.
  9. Select create and choose the relevant portfolio.
  10. Name your site and create the same. (Name of the site should be same as your login information and add last four numbers from your id number.)
  11. Your portfolio is ready in some time. Edit required details and you are good to use the cloud smusd.     

How to reset SMUSD Cloud password?

  1. If you forgot the password of the cloud then click on the reset password link from the homepage.
  2. Enter your email address click on next.
  3. You will get instruction in your mail id, follow further instruction as mention in the mail.
